Every time I come in, everyone is so friendly. I see a lot of negative reviews here, which is a shame. Do you people not understand final sale? Especially since its a law in certain states. You should be ashamed. As far as my experience, everyone has been super knowledgeable every time my husband and I come in. Thank you, lovers lane!

Good evening, I ordered a package on December 8, 2020 and according to USPS my package was delivered today December 17, 2020 but I never received it. According to the tracking number my mail was delivered on my porch but again I never received it. My mother and I check for the mail daily. According to my mother she didn't see the package as well and all we got were regular mail in envelopes today December 17, 2020. Below I have a screenshot of the day I ordered my package and the message I received from you using my tracking number. I'm not blaming anyone for this issue but this is a concern and if this can't be resolved then I will request a refund. Again I did not receive my package although the tracking number says I did.

I bought an $80 lubrication set for me and my husband's anniversary gift. when I came home my husband said I'm not going to be able to use this i have skin problems, so i go to take it back and get something else we never opened it nothing I go back today to return it, and im told sorry no return...okay what about in-store credit ??..no sorry can't even do that . so today I learned I got scammed out of $80 for product I will never use because of my husband's skin conditions, total scam of a company. What a horrible first impression. Plus i was never told i could not teturn. Such a waste.

I didn't get an email for a half off sale. Yes, I contacted Lovers Lane which was not as easy as it should of been. They claimed I got the email and didn't open it and I didn't. I checked my spam and trash folders and everything else and I didn't get it. They have gotten new computers and when I was in the store and I found out they had had he sale the clerk did something to check my email and I'm still not getting my emails from them. Suffice to say with the treatment I received I doubt I'll ever shop there again. There are other stores to go to and other places on line I'll shop at.

Defective Apparel

I purchased a corset to wear for a special occasion. After trying on several styles, I decided on a black pleather tie corset with a zipper in the back. The helpful store clerk informed me that the return policy allows for exchanges only no monies would be returned. Satisfied with the terms, I agreed to pay the$57 for the corset. Excitedly, I immediately went home to try on the corset with different outfits. Soon after I noticed an issue with the zipper. No matter how tight or loose I tied the strings, the zipper just wouldn't stay up. Reluctantly, I decided to exchange the corset. However, when I went to the store the clerk informed me that all sales are final. I needed to have a special stamp on the receipt to return on-line purchases within 7 days. Other than that, ALL SALES FINAL. Even though I feel the policy was misrepresented at the time of purchase, does this apply to defective items. If an item has a defect, it is on the consumer to take the loss. Based on this experience and misrepresentation, I will never shop there again. I will also let my friends and co-workers know the bad business practice of this store.

This is about the Arlington heights location by the way, i'm not sure if anyone had ran into these issues before but i suggest no one to deal with her in any type of way if you want to be talked to like a child ask for her if not stay clear of her.

I was passing the lovers lane store when i had finally noticed where they had moved. I walked in and was informed about the sale that was going on. Told the lady i was just looking around, as i walked through the store i noticed these kits on a glass stand. The lady then came up to me and asked if i had seen them i said no as she showed me what they were i lost interest real fast. It felt like she was selling me items instead of explaining them. So i said im ok i don't want them. As i kept looking i had noticed the massage oils i had picked the tester up and opened the lid to smell it and try to see how oily the product was. Then she came over to me and yelled at me for even opening them up. I asked her what her name was and she stated it was Tina i asked if i can speak to the manager and she proceeded to say she is the manager. I then said she had poor management skills, and needs to learn to speak to people the right way. Then I left the store and will never EVER go back to that location again!

You people are either nuts or trolling. Except Big girl.

As a customer you should be able to try before buy a product especially if its a scented product. What sense does it make for Big_Girl to buy it, not like it, and then return it??

If they didn't have testers well then thats the store's fault. That should be already available for customers END OF STORY.

I don't think anyone has a right to be verbally abused ( if that's really what happened), and yes mistakes happen but it should be common sense if it doesn't say tester it's not a tester. And as long as a business is following the law it can operate however it wishes. You're concerned about the scent and having to return it you don't buy it. You sound like a 12 year old, in the world revolves around them and everything is everyone else's fault.

I got news for you in the real world people are held responsible for their choices and their actions, so they should try to make wise ones instead of acting childish and then pointing the finger when things don't go the way they what them to.

We make mistakes we get yelled at *** happens. Everyone needs to put their big boy/girl pants on and deal with their life.

Well I thought it was a tester, Tina should have been more understanding, I thought I was smelling a tester. It turned out it was not a tester, I should not be verbally abused for a mistake anyone can make.

Even if I were a child as the two of you claim this is verbal abuse on a child and can have lasting scars even worse than physical abuse. Okay perhaps I accidentally opened something that was not a tester, so what, I would have bought it anyway. Now I will be returning to the store and opening all the massage oils they have and hope Tina is the one that has to clean it all up. The best part is she will lose sales and all because she was rude.

No one will buy it if it were opened.

For those of you saying I need parental supervision. I am 30 years old.

Miss, I'm 30 years old and I don't open anything unless it explicitly States "Tester" on it( and then yes I will freely try every tester they have because that is what they are for). If the manager was explicitly rude to you I do think that's wrong and she should have giving you the benefit of a doubt that you made an error.

But I lost all sympathy for you when you say you're going to go back there and open everything because she was rude. You open it you buy it. Honestly your attitude about the situation is why people are saying you need adult supervision because you are acting childish.

Your physical age doesn't mean anything if you're going to choose to act like a bratty teenager. Let this be a lesson to everyone that as someone else said you act like a child you get treated like a child.

Sounds to me like someone needed mommy in the store with her, that way she could have prevented you from opening something you thought was a sample. I doubt you will be missed, you don't go around opening things from stores unless you are sure it is a sample.

Agrees adult supervision in this situation could have prevented her from being treated rudely. It is very rude to open something assuming it was there to sample.

I like how someone acts like a child and gets upset when they are treated like one.

Had an adult been supervising her they would have told her not to touch the message oil since it was obviously not a tester.
